What's the difference between your two websites?
We have two dedicated stores so your experience feels local, not adjusted.
🇮🇳 www.desifataka.in — for customers in India. INR pricing, Indian payment options.
🇨🇦 www.desifataka.com — for customers in Canada. CAD pricing, DDP shipping (no surprise duties), delivered to your door.
Everywhere else? You're welcome on either store. www.desifataka.com ships internationally.
Do you have margins?
Yes at Desi Fataka, we thoughtfully add margins to our silhouettes to allow minor size adjustments if needed.
Please note: Kaftans do not include additional margins, as their construction and relaxed fit do not require it.
Which size will work best for me ?
The generic size guide is available for your ease on every product page which will assist you in finding the perfect fit. We suggest you choose your usual size, as our garments are designed for a comfortable fit. You can go a size up for a relaxed fit.
Why is there a slight colour difference between the product and the images?
Product images are photographed in natural lighting, but screen settings and lighting differences may cause slight colour variation. As our products are artisan-made in small batches, minor shade differences are natural and part of handcrafted textiles.
Do you take orders over phone or WhatsApp?
Yes, we do. Orders can be placed via WhatsApp.
Do you offer customised sizing?
Yes, we offer customised sizing. Please text us on WhatsApp or call us to proceed. Kindly note that customised size orders are not eligible for return or exchange.
Do you offer Cash on Delivery?
Yes, we do on orders within India.
Can I add sleeves to a sleeveless piece?
Yes, Most of our sleeveless styles can be made with sleeves for an additional $15.
Just message us on WhatsApp before placing your order. As these are made to order, please allow around 12–18 days from order to delivery (a few days for production, then 8–12 days for shipping).
Custom-sleeve pieces are final sale.
