Kala Cotton is a desi (native Indian) cotton grown in Kutch, Gujarat, without pesticides and woven on handlooms. It feels a little crisp at first and softens with every wash. It breathes through a sticky Toronto summer and sits easily under a sweater in winter.

Hi, we're Bhavya and Nirmohi, two sisters, one in Toronto and one in Ahmedabad.
We fell for Kala Cotton because of how easy it felt on our skin: natural and breathable. In Canada, we couldn't find Indian handloom clothes you could wear every day, so we started Desi Fataka.
Every order goes out in a cotton bag, with a small gift and a thank-you note we write by hand.
